Suizhou Yandi Hometown Scenic Area is the birthplace of Yandi, the first ancestor of the Chinese nation. Suizhou Museum, located at the west bank of Shui Jueshui River, adjoining the site of remains of the Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State on the west, is a local comprehensive museum integrating cultural relics collection, scientific research, publicity, education, archaeology and chime performance. Chime of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State
The Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State was discovered in 1978. Marquis Yi of the Zeng State was the king of the Zeng State in early Warning States period. The Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State, located in the northeast of Leigudun Ancient Tombs, near the mountain and by the river, occupies a commanding position and is the largest tomb among the unearthed in Leigudun Ancient Tombs. The Tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng State is at the hill with red sandstone. Leigudun Ancient Tombs
Leigudun has not only the legend but also historical and practical connotations. Leigudun Ancient Tombs are located in the hilly area of Leigudon, facing Jueshui River on the east and Yunshui River on the south. The area was the cemetery of marquises of the Zeng State in the Warring States period and thus is a national key cultural relic protection unit. Leigudun has an area of 3.6 square kilometers and consists of 8 tomb areas. The big tomb of each tomb area is on the highest point and independent from other big tombs, standing by itself.
